Sisterhood Passover Cookbook

Share your favorite Passover recipes for a 2021 Passover recipe booklet

We all have to admit that cooking for Passover includes some challenges. Yet, many of us have delicious family favorites, or have spontaneously created great recipes. There are endless versions of Passover rolls and charoset. Do you have a fantastic cookie recipe? Are you willing to share your secret brisket ingredients? In 2012, the Sisterhood put together a Passover Cookbook, but it’s time for an update. We’d like to collect Passover recipes during the month of April. So as you prepare for Passover and make appetizers, salads, main courses, snacks, and desserts during the holiday, consider sharing your favorites with the Congregation! Please type them up and submit them to Laura Rodman at Please include ingredients, number of servings, step by step preparation, and cooking and storing instructions. Also include your name and where you got the recipe, whether you created it, adapted it, or had it handed down from a friend or family member. Our goal is to organize the recipes and make them into a booklet that will be available for next Passover. We anticipate a small cost to purchase the booklets, partly to cover expenses and partly as a fundraiser, but we will let you know as details shape up. Looking forward to collecting lots of recipes! Happy Passover to all!
