For Young Families

Our Congregation offers endless opportunities for young families to connect wih eachother and get involved. 

Tot Shabbat

Held on select dates throughout the school year, our Tot Shabbats are ideal for families with very young children. The service starts with a special candle lighting ceremony in the social hall. Everyone then moves to the sanctuary for a fun evening of songs, stories and prayers. Our Tot Shabbat service is followed by an oneg with child-friendly goodies.

Torah Tot

Held Saturday mornings 2x per year, our Torah Tot programs feature crafts, storytelling, food and festivities for families with very young children. An emphasis is placed on community and team building. 

Family Shabbat

Our Family Shabbat services, also held monthly except for the summer, are designed for families with children who are in the process of learning the Hebrew prayers and blessings, but aren’t yet ready for the adult service, usually through the 6th or 7th grade. 

Special High Holiday Services

On both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we offer both a Family Service and a Children’s service, in addition to our regular High Holiday services. Both the Family and Children’s services are led by Rabbi Perry.
